Summary
We’re looking for an email marketing manager to build marketing programs to increase user engagement and revenue across our premium products. The email marketing manager will be responsible for developing marketing strategy in collaboration with other channel owners, building and executing campaigns on our marketing automation platforms, and measuring success through rigorous data analysis.
Responsibilities
* Work closely with our Analytics team to identify opportunities to better educate our users about our products through email * Develop hypotheses on how email can be used to drive user behavior; experiments can be as tactical as button copy to as strategic as developing a new user onboarding campaign * Drive end-to-end execution of email campaigns, including creating the experimental framework, launching the campaign, and analyzing results * Communicate insights to management and cross-functional teams * Partner with conversion marketing, sales, performance marketing, and product marketing to build integrated campaigns
Ideal Candidate
* 5+ years in an email / analytical role * Ability to build email content using HTML and CSS * Working knowledge of and comfort working with SQL * Experience designing and implementing A/B and multivariate tests * Experience building, growing, and optimizing customer engagement programs in a fast-paced B2C or B2B company * Proficiency with email tools (Exact Target, Responsys, etc), CRMs (e.g., Salesforce), and marketing automation tools (e.g., Marketo) a plus * Degree in a quantitative discipline (CS, Math, Economics, Statistics, etc.) preferred
