Summary
Conduct regular telephone sales calls with current and former independent distributors and operators in order to drive sales and increase customer retention rates. The calls will be based on current lists of distributors and operators provided by internal and external sources. The inside sales specialist will also be responsible for calling new customers in order to create sales opportunities. These opportunities will be used by the Field Sales organization to drive customer attainment.
Responsibilities
* Conduct telephonic sales calls with current and former customers as well as new operators to ARYZTA * Conduct telephonic sales calls with independent distributors who may or may not be purchasing ARYZTA foods to increase penetration or develop new sales opportunities * Present promotional activities and obtain buy-in from customers. * Increase customer retention and satisfaction by conducting service surveys and maintaining regular contact. * Track and document all calls with accurate notes, so that brokers and field sales personnel can follow up efficiently. * Create and track customer satisfaction survey and provide weekly update on success and failure of customer regain(s) * Provide support to field sales in execution of customer appreciation rebate drives * Work collaboratively with customer service, category management, customer marketing, customer finance and customer development team in performance of daily tasks * Be the Customer Champion within the organization
Ideal Candidate
* 4 year college degree in communications or marketing * 1-4 years of experience working with customers and brands * 2 years of telesales experience * Multi-lingual a plus; * Advanced Excel Skills, Microsoft Office, ERP systems (SAP a plus) * Periodic travel required for internal meetings; less than 10%
