Summary
The Human Resources Manager/Recruiter will be primarily responsible for creating effective recruiting strategies for locations across the US. This will be achieved through the development of local and national recruiting plans, employing traditional sourcing strategies and resources as well as developing new, creative recruiting ideas. In addition, this role is responsible for training and supporting local leadership on the recruiting processes established in order to meet local staffing needs.
Responsibilities
**Primary duties:** * Leads searches for various positions for Laundry Stores utilizing sound judgment and discretion. Will act as primary search lead for new District Managers and assist District Managers in hiring of new Store Managers in regions. * Coordinates applicant flow and employment processes by working with Human Resources Manager to place advertisements, maintain open positions on websites, and schedules candidate interviews. * Manages the candidate and hiring manager experience through the recruitment life cycle, ensuring positive experiences and high satisfaction. * Maintains key recruiting metrics and reports on a monthly basis. * Builds effective partnerships with hiring managers and employees to understand staffing needs, creatively source for open positions and develop proactive recruiting techniques and programs. **Secondary duties:** * Provides total staffing training to the team on areas of recruitment strategy, sourcing and candidate assessment and selection. * Partner with District and Store managers on employee onboarding, training, performance management and rewards. * Ensures Company compliance with all laws and regulations. * Assists in developing, communicating and implementing personnel policies and procedures. * Obtain, store, and analyze pertinent data and information. * Coaches Managers on issues such as discipline, training, staffing, promotions, transfers and other similar matters. * Maintains and expands knowledge and understanding of existing and proposed federal and state laws/regulations affecting human resources management. Identify trends that could impact organizational objectives and/or operational resources. * Assists with investigation and resolution of ongoing employee relations problems, anticipate problems whenever possible, and develop, recommend, and initiate appropriate steps for resolution.
Ideal Candidate
**Knowledge/Experience:** * Minimum three to five years recruiting experience in a retail setting. * Demonstrated ability to source diverse talent from various channels to include web-based sourcing solution, networking and professional associations. **Skills and Abilities:** * Strong planning and organizational skills; demonstrated sense of urgency and attention to detail. Effective at managing multiple priorities under tight deadlines, ability to prioritize conflicting demands, organize time and resources to deliver solid and consistent results for the business and bring assignments to successful completion. * Technical acumen with web-enabled systems and tools. Strong PC skills paired with high proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook and applicant tracking systems. * Experience working with and understanding employment laws, regulations and requirements. * Bi-lingual English/Spanish preferred. **Education:** * Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources Management or other related business Bachelor’s degree. **Physical Requirements:** * Position involves sitting long periods, standing, manual dexterity, stooping, bending and minimal lifting.
