Summary
Do you have experience managing a sales team responsible for selling search engine marketing programs or at least 2 years of experience selling SEM business-to-business? Do you have a background in coaching and developing a team responsible for Internet advertising sales? YP is seeking a Regional Internet Sales Manager to manage a team of 8-10 Internet sales managers to achieve set Internet advertising objectives.
Responsibilities
- Drive effective management of multi-million dollar territory and client-base to meet and exceed revenue objectives. - Engage with the local leadership team to promote, integrate and meet the SEM and sales office objectives. - Provide leadership and training to team in the sale of SEM and YP products through field coaching, training and collateral. - Work with multiple stakeholders on business development initiatives. - Assign territories and accounts to Internet Sales Managers. - Participate in important negotiations with key customers. - Plan and implement campaign strategies, sales incentives, training, and canvas rideshares. - Assist in the recruiting and hiring process for the team. - Create PowerPoint presentations and Excel spreadsheets for presentation to leadership and teams. - Work with local and regional providers of content for cross-promotional, reciprocal linking and business development initiatives. - Represent YP unilaterally and/or in partnership with Directory in local tradeshows, community events and other marketing opportunities.
Ideal Candidate
- Two or more years selling search engine marketing products or programs business-to-business or managing a team that sells SEM programs. - Two or more years media sales experience; with top-performing sales results. - One or more years of experience leading and managing a sales team. - Previous experience creating presentations in Word, Excel, or PowerPoint, and presenting/training sales representatives and/or sales leaders as well as presenting to customers. - Ability to travel overnight. **Desired Qualifications:** - Google AdWords certified. - BA degree in a related field.
