Summary
The Media Reporting Manager is responsible for reporting for ongoing campaign performance summaries and fulfilling ad-hoc support requests. The Media Reporting Manager demonstrates a great curiosity for all things data related. This individual will monitor the overall health of campaigns by producing and distributing media operational reports, management reports and analysis of opportunities. These reports will be utilized to support the top priorities of Media Campaign Managers and Advertising Operations Managers in order to maximize the ROAS for media spend for the client and maximize TC profitability of each client. This individual may be tasked with analyzing under-performing campaigns. This individual must be extremely detail oriented, well organized, and have the ability to multi-task in a results in fun oriented business environment. This individual must have a strong analytical mindset and experience within the digital media industry and have the drive to work in a fun and fast paced environment.
Responsibilities
* Generate high quality management, operations and client reports * Provide operational thought leadership on metrics including margin, burn rates, campaign ROI performance, and inventory management * Provide ad hoc support when needed for any specific reporting needs on workflow or operational KPI management * Proactive analysis to improve campaign performance and meet performance goals * Provide key insights to internal clients in order to best service customers * Provide support for Media Campaign Managers and Ad Operations by compiling data which will assist in the creation of best practices and the improvement on current campaigns * Generate data to upselling activities and renewal activities * Remain up-to-date on client/competition/agency/industry business through trade publications, newspapers and web sites, and assess the potential impact of industry events/trends on the client's business
Ideal Candidate
* Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Business Intelligence or Statistics * 4+ years’ experience pulling and managing data from various sources to create reports to deliver recommendations for media campaign optimization and maximizing the ROAS * Prior experience with ad networks, exchanges, DSP’s and/or programmatic platforms- ( i.e. - DoubleClick Campaign Manager, DoubleClick Bid Manager, DoubleClick Search, Google Adwords, Google AdPlanner, Google Analytics and Data Visualization/Reporting tools) * Excellent mathematical and finance abilities to evaluate data trends, understand and evaluate budget/results, upsells, ROAS, margins and KPIs and other numeric data effectively * Excellent analytical skills. You have direct experience building out and optimizing complex, high-spend, reports/campaigns. You can translate KPIs to strategy/tactics – and deliver on them. * Inquisitive and curious; thinks strategically and creatively to provide the best solutions for clients * Demonstrates initiative through anticipating future trends and pro-actively taking action to prevent problems * Focus on providing excellence in every campaign and project for our clients through delivering top-notch reporting, accurate data, and strong trend analysis and recommendations * Practices effective time management by prioritizing critical tasks, scheduling work, and utilizing resources * Strong ability to work as part of a team; transparently provides team information * Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required * Proficient in MS Office, with expertise in MS Excel (vlookups, macros, pivots) and Access and intermediate level in PowerPoint
