Summary
The Xilinx Integrated Marketing Events & Tradeshow Manager will be responsible for developing event-based marketing strategies and execution of Xilinx 's North America and Corporate-based event programs – including: roadshows, seminars, tradeshows, conferences, ecosystem events, plug fests, standards bodies, etc. Drive development of corporate seminar program including the monitoring of global scheduling and regional execution, ensuring alignment to Xilinx corporate goals and objectives. Be the single point-of-contact for Xilinx North American events including the planning process and on-site support. They will work with a cross-functional team to execute programs, following established processes and timelines. This requires exceptional organizational skills, close attention to detail, as well as the ability to work intelligently and quickly in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate must be able to manage multiple projects at one time, which includes but is not limited to: event strategy, logistics, budget management, metrics gathering/ reporting, and marketing plan gathering/reporting.
Responsibilities
- Drive program definition for all event types in collaboration with global marketing communications, sales and marketing. - Maintain primary focus on Corporate driven seminars - Detailed program management with plans and timelines, including regional coordination. Central management of global seminar program reporting (ROI). - Measure effectiveness & analysis programs, address gaps, optimize, and make recommendations as appropriate. - North America event planning and execution, including on-site event support. - Manage relationship with exhibit house for all event and tradeshow properties, show preparation, graphics production and transportation. - Maintain tradeshow and events storage room; inventory of equipment and giveaways, overall organization and unpack return show items.

- Time management, organization, and attention to detail. - Effectively works under tight deadlines and manages tasks with minimal supervision. - Strong work ethic and resourceful in solving problems and overcoming obstacles. - Professional approach to working with all levels inside and outside the organization - Strong written and verbal communication skills. - Computer savvy including Microsoft Office Suite and SharePoint. - 8+ years of event management in a high tech environment. - Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, communications or related field.
