Summary
Principal Enterprise Capital (PEC) is seeking an Administrative Assistant to join their team in the Chicago, IL office. This position requires you to work closely with and support the firm’s senior management team. In this role, the qualified individual will perform a variety of administrative functions. This position provides an opportunity to be part of a small team which continues to expand its business. The qualified individual will have a strong work ethic and a desire to be an integral part of a team-oriented business. This role is critical to the team’s overall organization and success.
Responsibilities
* Provide administrative support for Principal Enterprise Capital management team * Assist with general office management activities * Maintain complex team annual calendar * Schedule travel, both domestic and international * Process expense reports * Ensure proper handling of classified, confidential, private or sensitive information * Assist with the Principal Enterprise Capital Symposium, annual Look Back/Look Forward, Economic summit and other event planning * A limited amount of travel may be involved.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will have administrative experience supporting a team of professionals in the Financial Services/Investment industry. **Required Knowledge/Skills/Experience include:** * Undergraduate or Associates degree preferred. High School diploma or equivalent required * Must have a minimum of 1-2 years of experience as an administrative assistant * Proficient in Microsoft office suite; Word, Excel and PowerPoint * Prefer those with ability to type 45-55 wpm * Strong organization skills and attention to detail * Excellent oral/written communication (including grammar and spelling), problem solving and basic math skills * Ability to prioritize assignments, adapt to changes in daily tasks when necessary, and multi-task throughout each day * Position requires tact, ability to maintain confidentiality and good customer service and interpersonal skills * Requires good judgment, good communications skills, and the ability to work well both individually and with others to meet strict deadlines * Graphics experience a plus * This position requires successful completion of a criminal background check.
