Summary
This new and exciting role within our global network operations team will be responsible for leading optimization initiatives and process improvement efforts throughout the WSI supply chain organization. This role will involve leading projects and driving change in an increasingly complex global supply chain. This position requires a combination of technical skills needed to navigate through ambiguity, as well as high emotional intelligence to lead change management initiatives and adopt consensus amongst multiple stakeholders.
Responsibilities
* Facilitate the growth and optimization of WSI’s global supply chain by reducing cost, improving service, and eliminating non-value added activities * Conduct process improvement initiatives from project ideation, to data mining and analysis, to project management and execution * Work with multiple supply chain silos (Sourcing, Manufacturing, Distribution, Transportation, etc) to understand business drivers and resolve pain points * Connect activities amongst multiple supply chain silos to achieve overall supply chain strategic initiatives * Work with Business Intelligence dashboards, PO visibility tools, and other supply chain systems in order to gather and link complex data sets. Transform this data into high level material which can be presented to senior leadership * Build consensus amongst internal and external partners by presenting thoughtful change initiatives and data driven solutions * Identify Supply Chain metrics through data collection and reporting in order to track performance
Ideal Candidate
**Minimum Qualifications:** * 4 year Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations or related field required. * General Exposure to various supply chain systems /software/platforms required. * Enterprise Resource Planning Systems * Warehouse Management Systems * Order Management Systems * Inventory Management Systems * Visibility Platforms * Proven track record in driving change and solving complex problems * Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office * Ability to work within various systems and use a structured approach to identify, collect, and validate data * Ability to work both independently and in a team environment with little supervision * Ability to work with internal customers and communicate business requirements **Preferred Qualifications:** * Masters or other advanced degree * Six Sigma or Lean Six Sigma trained/certified * Project Management certification
