Summary
Customer Service Training Specialists make Zoro run by coordinating the implementation, standardization and ongoing utilization of training and quality initiatives within the organization with a primary focus on the customer service function. Whether it be ensuring quality programs, training and process documentation is in place using existing tools and process improvement methods or designing, implementing and facilitating quality training initiatives across all functional areas of the business, our Customer Service Training Specialists make sure Zoro employees are informed and well prepared.
Responsibilities
* Design and implement quality training program to support consistent understanding and application of order management systems * Ensure alignment of training initiatives with current processes and systems * Assist process owners in documentation of current and future processes * Provide quality training for all new employees * Identify and facilitate ongoing process improvement initiatives working with cross-functional teams and managers as appropriate
Ideal Candidate
* A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is preferred * 3 – 5 years experience in order management, supply chain management or materials management in a manufacturing, industrial distribution or customer service environment * Demonstrated strong mathematical and analytical skills * Demonstrated ability to effectively work with and establish credibility with customers, employees, managers and business partners across functional lines * Excellent communication, presentation and consultation skills * Demonstrated ability to quickly learn, become competent in and effectively apply new skills and tools * Previous work experience in training, quality and/or project management * Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and a strong understanding of the adult learner * Presentation and training skills
