Supply Chain Excellence Leader

The Supply Chain Excellence Leader is a highly essential role intended to develop, promote, and implement continuous improvement strategies in support of the Global Supply Chain organization. This role is responsible for managing the day to day effort related to driving improvements aligned with critical supply chain objectives. This individual will be expected to define and deploy appropriate internal and external best practices to incorporate in the long term implementation of continuously improving processes, tools, systems and productivity initiatives within the Global Supply Chain organization, utilizing effective project management skills. You will ensure the completion of projects within budget, on schedule, and meeting all requirements.

* Leader for championing cultural change and change management agenda. * Interface with all functional groups to assure coherent and aligned strategy. * Lead, develop and implement process improvement and standardization across all facets of Grace Supply Chain. * Support global integration of all Supply Chain systems. Support and deploy change management by being an “agent of change” by identifying and deploying Best Practices designed to improve process efficiencies, quality/service, capacity utilization, and productivity while reducing costs across the Supply Chain. * Coordinate teams to provide cross-functional expertise and resources (engage expertise in specific areas) to support implementation of supply chain related projects. Support the implementation of identified projects through effective communication between the functions, businesses, resources and external 3rd Party providers. * Responsible for the implementation and effectiveness of end-to-end supply chain processes including tracking and monitoring essential KPIs (service, quality, cost, timeliness) - initially in the order fulfillment and production systems area. * Lead Supply Chain Excellence team using Project Management skills and methodologies while working with functional & regional leaders to drive execution. * Manages communications on a regular and timely basis, ensuring that all project participants are informed of project status, problems, and required actions. * Prepares and maintains accurate, coherent, and timely project records/files and cost estimates * Deploy Lean/Six Sigma methodology and other contemporary tools across the Supply Chain Organization to drive a culture of process excellence and operational performance. * Develop strong collaborative relationships to achieve goals functionally and cross-functionally.

**Required Skills** * Excellent ability to communicate effectively with system users both internally and externally (suppliers). * Understanding of end-to-end Supply Chain interactions and interdependencies. * Ability to lead teams to drive productivity projects across all aspects of supply chain * Demonstrated hands-on project management/delivery experience and working with global cross functional teams. * Experience in leading strategic business improvement and process initiatives using proven methodologies. * Excellent global system implementation and management skills. * Ability to identify and solve complex process and operational business challenges. **Required Experience** * Minimum of 3-5 years of supply chain/ ERP and distribution business system process design and delivery. * Bachelor’s degree in business or technical discipline required. * Advanced degrees including MBA or MS in Engineering, Information Systems or other technical discipline preferred. * SAP system certification, ITIL and Six Sigma green/black belt and PMP are a plus. * W.R.
