Responsibilities
- As our dynamic Online Content and Social Media Manager you are responsible for creating and implementing online campaigns across our website and various advertising and social media outlets. - In this capacity you will leverage your finely tuned writing and editing skills coupled with your passion for linguistics to craft vivid and galvanizing campaigns that conveys our story. - In addition to creating new content, you will take existing source material and artfully tweak for online usage. - Our ideal candidate is self-motivated, collaborative and acts with a sense of urgency. - You understand and are experienced in creating and executing social media strategies and building a rolling social media roadmap to capture short and long term initiatives. - As our Online Content and Social Media Manager you are a key contributor to our Marketing team and as such will work collaboratively with internal stakeholders in Sales and Editorial teams to craft content for campaigns and will partner with the Senior Director of Marketing to improve performance and drive revenue through online campaigns. Principal Duties & Responsibilities: - Develop and deploy content for website, landing pages, and microsites in collaboration with the product marketing team - Collaborate with the marketing team to write and edit messaging for online campaigns and the website - Create and execute social media strategies in collaboration with the Senior Director of Marketing and Marketing Assistant - Develop and manage blogs for our higher education and secondary audiences. Write and edit content from a variety of source materials and through collaboration with internal and external authors - Create, manage, and edit online banner, retargeting, and PPC campaigns, including development of messaging and other content in collaboration with the product marketing team and project management with outside PPC vendor - Collaborate on email marketing content with product marketing team and sales, including developing and deploying automated message campaigns for instructor and student audiences - Manage website and web store content in our Magento and Wordpress CMS systems, including the creation of brand content, updates to existing pages, landing page development, and web store promotions - Compile and share website and online campaign performance analysis and reporting, including social media, SEO, and Google Analytics reporting Contribute to other initiatives as necessary
Ideal Candidate
- 2-5+ years of experience in content marketing, preferably in the education, textbook or healthcare sector - BA/BS in English, communications, or related field - Demonstrated expertise in creating content for web, advertising and social media campaigns - Excellent web writing and editing skills - Strong project management skills and experience working with a variety of source material - Experience with marketing automation and drip campaign systems, Pardot experience a plus - Strong skills in Microsoft suite and other related technology platforms - Experience developing content in Wordpress and Magento CMS preferred - The ability to manage multiple projects and to work in a highly dynamic, fast-paced, deadline-driven environment - Proficiency in a world language a plus
