Purple, Rock, Scissors (PRPL) is an Orlando-based digital creative agency, a home of innovators, creatives, and engineers.

Responsibilities

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work with teams to develop a wide variety of online, video, and digital projects
  • Generate storyboards and prototypes that outline interaction, animation, and/or motion graphics
  • Information design, including semantic information for the web, and user interface issues such as browser / platform constraints and capabilities
  • Create initial concepts, functional design solutions, site grids, moodboards, and interface demos
  • Develop interactive prototypes of new websites, products, and application experiences
  • Refine existing designs to enhance and optimize the experience
  • Scope projects and participate in project definition phases
  • Validate your decisions and push for the best user experience
  • Contribute to the innovative development of the creative department
  • Stay current with digital and industry trends
  • Develop creative design solutions for limited screen real estate and mobile
  • Serve as a “thought leader” for our organization. Mentor departments by providing industry insight, contributing to the development of new processes, and educating PRPL teams.
  • Partner and interface directly with clients
Ideal Candidate

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3-5 years experience in digital design (preferably agency work)
  • Commitment to stay for 2+ years. No job hoppers up in here!
  • Experience with non-Adobe design workflows, including applications like Axure and Sketch
  • Must work on-site in Orlando office
  • Online portfolio of work displaying versatile, tasteful design
  • Spatial and environmental problem solver
  • Strong grasp of site maps, wireframes, and content inventory documents
  • Expert knowledge of project planning software
  • Expert knowledge of visual design software including Photoshop and Illustrator
  • Functional knowledge of iWork (particularly Keynote) and Microsoft Office
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Functional knowledge of basic front-end development (HTML, CSS, and Javascript)
  • Firm understanding of the latest and legacy browser capabilities, including mobile
  • Ability to work as a team, with or without supervision
  • Strong oral and written communication skills with both teams and clients

BONUS POINTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field of study
  • Experience using Framer.js, Origami or Adobe After Effects to prototype and experiment interactions
  • Experience with SEO principles and Google Analytics
  • Familiarity with content management and eCommerce solutions such as WordPress, Drupal, Expression Engine, and Magento
  • Relocation assistance negotiable
