This Project Delivery Manager role crosses all processes and phases of the project management lifecycle.
Responsibilities
* Partners with business owners, team members and other key personnel across various departments to plan, develop and manage key operational projects. * Facilitate appropriate communication methods and tracking tools to ensure identification and management of risks, mitigation strategies, plan activities, dependencies, impacts, escalation channels and detailed project documentation. * Manage Statement of Work (3rd party vendor) through project lifecycle to ensure all contracted deliverables have been achieved (where applicable). * Support our company’s project management best practices and provide feedback to improve the processes. * Assist in identifying opportunities to improve data accuracy and increase efficiencies, meeting with clients to discuss operational issues and conducting quality audits. * Ability to determine the right resources needed to effectively complete project assignments. * Resolve project issues to meet productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction expectations. * Participate in regular team meetings/activities, as appropriate. * Assist with the development and measurement of operational KPIs to measure operations efficiency and assess strengths and weaknesses. * Provide data intelligence on projects trends utilizing tools such as JIRA, Service Now or any tools utilized by department as requested by department management. * Lead and create deliverables for all aspects of business analysis and functional design for ISTS initiatives if a Business Analyst is not assigned to the project. * Keep current with other system changes that may impact the solutions provided by the ISTS group. * Builds and maintains strong peer relationships within the team and across the organization * Work with all stakeholders to articulate do-able goals, requirements, and schedule. * Assist in the development of strategic plans for operational activity. * Provide assistant with any artifacts and activities required for GRC audits and BCP Coordination. * Provide high profile weekly CIT updates, monthly backlog review, resource usability and JIRA analysis on IS projects including cycle time reports (In Progress, UAT, etc.). * Lead and coordinate product demonstrations and overviews with business units. * Coordinate any team events as requested by functional managers. * Works with the functional managers to compile information for the creation of presentations, reports and spreadsheets required for department initiatives.
Ideal Candidate
**Requirements:** * Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Project Management, Management and / or Supervision. * 3-7 years of experience in successfully leading and managing multiple small to medium size key operational and strategic business projects, with varying complexity and moderate impact under moderate supervision, performs varied duties and assignments involving critical thinking and judgment. * Experience with project management lifecycle, processes and techniques. * Experience in obtaining resources needed to effectively complete project assignments & tasks in a matrix organization. * Proven collaborative leadership with effective negotiation, interpersonal and partnering skills. * Seasoned project planning skills with the ability to handle large workload, the ability to anticipate required tasks & milestones, and facilitate the activities of dynamic, dispersed workgroups. * Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. * Strong written, verbal and listening communication skills. * High degree of organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail. * Excellent ability to handle multiple tasks under tight deadlines. * Strong, effective decision-making skills. * Able to look at the big picture, conceptualize outcomes and identify trends. * Proficient in Microsoft applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio and Project. * Experience with Kanban / agile / scrum methodologies. * Business analysis methodologies and experience. * Software development lifecycle, application deployment and information systems planning experience. * Working knowledge of SharePoint, JIRA, Collaboration & Project Management Tools. * Has successfully manage virtual projects. * Results focused - Initiates ways to find faster, better, less expensive ways of getting things done. Able to identify, set and deliver on project goals and milestones. Able to set and manage stakeholder expectations. Maintains flexibly in applying rules or procedure, depending on individual situations, to accomplish large objectives.Extends job boundaries beyond team’s responsibility. * Adaptable - Negotiates project scope to deliver effective solutions in a timely manner. * Self-Awareness – Understands the roles & responsibilities of a project manager. Must be able to build and maintain strong relationships across the organization. * Motivated - Self-motivation to learn new methodologies/technologies that will enhance job performance. Ability to prioritize work and self-manage. Owns and actively pursues professional and career development and encourages others in their development * Management Focus - Develops short-range and long-range plans that are appropriately comprehensive. Establish effective processes and procedures for accomplishing work for the team. **Education/Certification/License:** * Bachelor’s Degree in related field or combination of education and experience in a business discipline (HR, Finance, Computer Science, MIS, and Project Management). * Project Management Certification preferred (PMP or CAPM).
