Client is looking for a Sr. Project Manager role based in San Francisco. This individual will report to Director, Portfolio & Program Management. This role is responsible for managing the planning and execution of projects by working with all relevant cross-functional stakeholders across business and technology to drive projects to completion. The project manager will act as a Scrum Master for the assigned Scrum team(s) and follow the established Agile delivery framework and also manage integration and dependencies with other systems/teams. This resource will need to be a Scrum Master and a Program Manager. This role will work between two departments that use either Agile or Waterfall methodologies. **Top three skills:** * Must have both Scrum/Waterfall experience in managing multi-million dollar projects. * Experience working with Web or Mobile Application projects * Must have good communication--these roles have very high visibility (up to CEO level). Previous experience working with C-Level Execs or high level leadership is a huge plus

* Coordinate Sprint ceremonies Release Planning, Sprint Planning, Sprint demo and Retrospectives * Work with Product Owner to develop, groom and prioritize the backlog; ensure a healthy product backlog * Remove any impediments that would prevent the delivery team to achieve its Sprint goals * Help achieve potentially shippable product at the end of every Sprint * Guide and coach the team to follow Scrum framework properly * Drive continuous improvements towards consistent delivery of working software * Build program plans for strategic initiatives that spans multiple Agile or non-Agile teams and keep stakeholders informed on the progress * Communicate Scrum team achievements and be the information radiator * Ensure appropriate approvals and project documentation is captured in a central repository and is ready for internal/external audit

**Required Qualifications:** * Bachelor's degree, plus more than 8-10 years of progressive Program/Project Management experience with more than 2 years as a Scrum Master. * Demonstrated experience managing projects using both Agile and Waterfall development methodologies, with knowledge of industry standard tools and best practices. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills. * Good skills and knowledge of servant leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and increasing transparency * Extensive multi-tasking and prioritization skills - needs to excel in fast paced environment with high tolerance for ambiguity. * Experience using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio), MS Project and other Agile Project Management tools like JIRA. * Experience using collaboration and productivity tools like Confluence, and SharePoint. **Preferred Qualifications**: * MBA or similar advanced degree preferred. * Experience in eCommerce, digital payments or financial institutions. * Scrum Master Certification.
