Responsibilities
- Develop messaging for assigned products. - Assist in the development of product positioning that differentiates assigned products and leads to messaging. - Communicate the value proposition of assigned products to the sales team and develop sales tools that support the selling of assigned products. - Collaborate with Product Managers and team to plan product launches. - Execute the launch of new products and releases, and coordinate the cross functional implementation of the plan. - Maintain the pulse of the market. - Ascertain how customers buy, what the buying criteria are, and integrate this knowledge into product launch and demand generation activities. - Interact with product management, sales, and marketing communications to develop, propose, and implement promotional strategies and programs to drive demand for assigned products. - Work with Marketing Communications team to develop marketing plans, including multi-media collateral to support lead generation and advance prospects to sales. - Work closely with Product Management, Sales, and Engineering during new product developments to define market segments and customer buying criteria, to ensure successful development and execution of programs and new product launches. - Monitor, capture, and communicate key market trends, competitive moves, and changes in TSI’s position or image (e.g. quality, market share) in the market. - Define and establish process and metrics for downstream marketing activities to ensure effectiveness and ROI. Track and report metrics. BASIC JOB REQUIREMENTS - Education Required: Bachelor’s degree in business or marketing. - Desired: MBA
Ideal Candidate
- 5+ years of product marketing experience with at least 2 years of a field facing role.
