Summary
This role provides support to Disneyland Resort Marketing and Sales, Hotel Lodging, and Downtown Disney businesses. This person will be responsible for translating consumer knowledge and data into actionable insight to drive segment goals, opportunities, strategies, products, experiences, communication and operations. Critical interpretation of data, mining and synthesis, and compelling communication skills are required to actively collaborate with partners to solve business challenges. This person will need to effectively handle multiple assignments at once, across varied partner groups and complex businesses in a fast paced, dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
* Put Your Skills to the Test - Mine and analyze data using various statistical techniques. Interpret information to provide objective, clear and actionable insight. * Exercise leadership - Support and lead consumer insight projects. Design research studies, in partnership with leader, applying appropriate methodological techniques to address business needs. Develop questionnaires / discussion guides, with guidance from leader, that provide a platform for key insight and actionable results. * Collaborate with key partners - Foster relationships with internal partners and external vendors, managing specific work-streams under supervision of leader. * Tell the story - Partnering with leader, communicate findings in a clear and compelling way.
Ideal Candidate
**What We’re Looking For:** * Minimum three to five years relevant experience in a related field (e.g. marketing/sales, market research, business analytics, strategic planning, new product development, etc.) * Experience in project management * Ability to manage a team of multiple people * Demonstrated experience in quantitative, qualitative research and/or statistical/analytical techniques * Solid communication skills (verbal, written, presentation) * Demonstrated expertise in use of Excel and presentation software such as PowerPoint or Keynote * Knowledge and use of statistical software (SPSS/SAS) * Solid understanding of market research, marketing and/or product development * Strong attention to detail within context to the business goals * Ability to interpret information to articulate a clear, compelling story to identify business opportunities * Bachelor’s degree or equivalent **How To Stand Out:** * MBA preferred * Comfortable sharing a point of view and advocating for consumers * Flexible and nimble - can adapt to changing priorities * Ability to partner and work well with various levels of the organization * Demonstrated analytical and critical thinking skills * Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills
