The company develops and distributes a variety of orthodontic equipment and supplies, including adhesives, cutting instruments, bands and crowns, brackets, trays, and wires. Its brands include Damon Smile, Titanium Orthos, Mini-Twin, and Prodigy SL. The company distributes its products directly and through distributors in the US and around the globe.

Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and execute strategic marketing initiatives to support growth of assigned product portfolio comprised of new and existing products.
  • Write copy for and manage the creative development of marketing materials to support sales revenue. Deliverables include sales collateral, advertising/PR, promotions, e-marketing, training/education materials, multimedia, trade show support and patient education materials.
  • Manage and support the company’s customer loyalty rewards program; analyze program effectiveness, propose/implement improvements and provide ongoing support for sales team, customer care and customers.
  • Provide sales team with leadership, training and effective marketing support including sales tools, product training and selling strategies.
  • Work closely with cross-functional partners (marketing, sales, product development, R&D, customer support, legal, regulatory, finance) throughout the product development and commercialization processes.
  • Develop and execute lead generation campaigns to support new and existing product lines.
  • Plan and execute product launches including brand strategy, messaging, positioning and pricing.
  • Forecast and manage the annual marketing budget for assigned product lines.
  • Develop and deliver product presentations to sales teams, product development, key customers and key opinion leaders (KOLs).
  • Create reports and analyze key metrics such as response rates, sales, and ROI results to identify and leverage the most effective programs.
  • Respond to requests for information from doctors, sales reps and other stakeholders.

Qualifications

EDUCATION AND / OR EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business or related field equivalent, MBA a plus
  • 5-7 years of marketing related experience, preferably in the healthcare or dental industry
  • Brand management experience, a track record in product launches and brand growth
  • B2B tactical marketing experience
  • Must enjoy spending time in the market (20% travel time to understand customer needs/preferences and attend industry events)

  • Strategic - must be able to make decisions quickly that drive Company goals and objectives.
  • Communication - must be able to effectively communicate in both written and verbal forms. Creative writing experience a plus.
  • Self-reliant - must be able to create, write and execute his/her marketing plans (doesn't rely on an agency or others to execute their work)
  • Analytical - must be able to evaluate marketing program return-on-investment and make recommendations to improve program structure for Company and customers.
  • Creative - must be able to generate out-of-box solutions and have experience writing/editing copy and directing graphic design.
  • Leader- must be willing to take risks, self-confidence and the ability to work with all departments in the organization and higher levels of management.
  • Influence - must be able to influence direct reports, peers, leadership staff, internal and external customers.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and team player mentality.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint (Keynote and CRM a plus)
