Summary
The HR Manager is a key member of the Corporate HR team and their assigned Corporate division(s) leadership team. This is a strategic business partner position responsible for working in a global matrix environment, leading the execution of HR objectives including workforce planning, talent management, employee relations, leadership development, coaching, change and organizational design initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Lead human resources strategy, programs, and activities for assigned divisions. - Build relationships to become a fully contributing, equal partner with the leaders and supporting organizations in all Corporate divisions and other Employee Relations activities that are part of the group. - Consult with division leaders to identify and address opportunities, systematically provide potential solutions and lead resulting organizational change. - Partner and work closely with HR Centers of Expertise (talent acquisition, compensation, talent development, benefits, payroll) in the implementation of corporate policies, practices and processes. - Lead and support the development of the workforce plan; identify talent challenges and suggest plans to close gaps. Partner with Talent Development to facilitate leadership and team development programs. - Support performance / career management and employee development. - Conducts equity and utilization analyses of compensation programs including merit, incentive plans, rewards & recognition and promotion. - Partner with Talent Acquisition to create a strategic recruitment plan for the identification, sourcing and hiring of top talent, and to identify potential roles, rotations or assignments for current employees to maintain the health of the overall organization. - Partner with business groups to develop and/or assess the effectiveness of career paths, job ladders, and job descriptions. - Utilizes Success Factors and other data sources to analyze talent trends and educate leadership teams on capabilities throughout the organization. - Support special projects which improves the overall engagement of employees.
Ideal Candidate
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business management or related field and a minimum of 7 years HR experience with at least 3 years of generalist experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. - Experience partnering / consulting with all levels of the organization including coaching, program development, influencing and making sound judgment calls. - Comfortable with and able to influence senior managers; accepts and deals effectively with global and local complexities. - Knowledgeable of HR processes, programs, policies and systems. - Able to deal effectively with ambiguity and change; comfortable with uncertainty. - Work effectively with other team members to solve problems and implement solutions. - Strong analytical and problem solving skills. - Strong MS-Office skills; familiarity with SAP HR and Success Factors is helpful. - Strong communication and presentation skills. - Willing to travel as required.
