Summary
As The Honest Company grows, our IT needs are growing along with us! We’re looking for an IT Technician to maintain current infrastructure needs and create long-term, scalable IT solutions. As an IT Technician, you’ll be the main contact and problem resolution resource for internal users in relation to phone, hardware, software, and applications issues. In this role, you will communicate regularly with internal stakeholders and will interact frequently with other team members. If you’ve got a knack for solving problems on the spot and a passion for helping others, we’re looking for you.
Responsibilities
**What you’ll do:** * Provide exceptional customer service to internal users across the organization * Ensure that phone, computing, and other communication platforms operate efficiently and are reliable, stable and predictable * Onboard new team members with access to all relevant systems * Provide accurate and timely resolution of computer and phone issues * Provide technical assistance and basic training to computer and phone system users * Provide assistance concerning the use of computer hardware and software, including printing, installation, word-processing, electronic mail and operating systems * Perform network troubleshooting to isolate and diagnose common network problems * Respond to the needs and questions of users concerning their access to network resources Maintain communication with internal teams during the problem resolution process * Assist in keeping track of inventory and making sure all phone and computer equipment is accounted for * Escalate problems as needed **You’ll love this job if you’re:** * No stranger to prioritization. Ideal Candidate
* Bachelor’s or associate’s degree (technology-related field preferred) * Experience in both PC and Mac environments * Knowledge of standard operating systems * Expert knowledge of PC/Mac hardware * Understanding VoIP phone systems * Experience with PBX * Experience with Active Directory, SCCM, & JAMF * Exceptional written and verbal communication skills * Advanced troubleshooting skills * Ability to interpret instructions in written, oral, diagram, and schedule form * Ability to develop scalable long term solutions * Ability to be on call during off-business hours (within reason)
