Summary
This position supports the execution of Bell Helicopter’s Talent Strategy by leading initiatives that build strong leaders, grow and engage our talent, and help us to cultivate a diverse and inclusive workforce. This position will lead our diversity and engagement programs, as well as support the design and execution of talent and career development processes and programs, succession planning, and performance management to ensure Bell Helicopter has the right talent in the right role and at the right time. The incumbent will be a direct report to the Manager, Talent Development.
Responsibilities
* Analyze, design, develop, coordinate, evaluate, and implement global diversity and inclusion, and employee engagement programs, to include communications, marketing, newsletters and education. Additionally, consult with the organization’s leaders in developing and integrating diversity and inclusion, and employee engagement goals and strategies into business and planning processes, and practices. * Assess, design, develop, maintain and implement rollout of diversity and inclusion, and employee engagement education, training, awareness programs, multiple venues of communication, diversity website & SharePoint site. * Lead the development of policies and programs to attract, retain and promote an inclusive workforce for the organization. Work with other areas in HR and across the business to identify opportunities to better develop, engage, and retain our talent. Lead the development and recommendation of courses of action, develop the business case, secure upper management approval, and drive initiative implementation. * Serve as subject matter expert on workforce diversity and inclusion, and employee engagement best practices, programs and policies for the organization which drive achievement of its business objectives. * Ensure integration of diversity and inclusion strategy, and employee engagement principles into the organization’s culture, its standard operating policies and procedures, and manage diversity related messaging consistent with overarching organizational communications. * Provide support to and/or management of the Diversity Council, Bell Engagement Team (BET) and other Employee Resource Groups (ERGs). * Provide support to HRBPs and leaders by attending calls/meetings to ensure understanding, support and collaboration with these functions. * Analyze and gather data and produce reports that provide progress against diversity, inclusion, retention, and engagement metrics and actions plans. * Lead the planning and execution of the Bell Employee Engagement Survey. Collaborate with the Bell Engagement Team, Leaders and HRBPs to create and execute action plans to drive the desired state culture. * Oversee administration of the Exit Interview survey/metric (process, communications, content, reporting, and actions) to improve retention and employee engagement. * Support the Talent Development Analysts in the planning and execution of Talent Reviews/Talent Development Council, Succession Planning, Performance Management, Career Development, Career Files, etc. * Execute other duties as assigned.
Ideal Candidate
* Demonstrated experience in diversity and inclusion, employee engagement, retention or related disciplines. * Experience in organizational development, and talent management preferred. * Bachelor’s degree in business/HR or related field required (Organizational Development, Organizational Behavior, or related discipline). * The ideal applicant will have at least five (5) years of HR-related experience. * Two (2) years’ experience in diversity, inclusion, and employee engagement preferred. * Working knowledge and understanding of diversity, inclusion and employee engagement. * Ability to understand, interpret, and perform analysis related to metrics. * Strong leadership, analytical, problem solving, time management, organizational and interpersonal skills. * Strong presentation skills in large and small group settings. * Strong written, listening and verbal communication skills. * Excellent coaching, mentoring and facilitating skills. * Ability to interact with employees and management across all levels as an advocate for diversity, inclusion and engagement. * Ability to demonstrate executive and managerial influencing skills. * Must have a service orientation and be able to operate with a high level of ambiguity and autonomy. * Experience in survey methodology preferred. * Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite applications. * Knowledge of and experience with SharePoint preferred.
