Summary
The HR Business Partner (“HRBP”) reports to the Senior Director, HR Consulting and is a key member of the HR team. This position is responsible for knowing business drivers to successfully partner with a group of functions within the broader organization. This individual is a trusted advisor to the business in the areas of organizational development, talent management, performance management, career development, employee relations, compensation planning and change leadership. This position will be heavily involved in projects to establish infrastructure and initiatives to enable rapid growth and scalability in the organization.
Responsibilities
* Gain an in-depth understanding of the overall Company’s business while building effective relationships with executives, managers and employees in key functional areas. * Serve as strategic business partner to senior leadership focused on a broad-based and transformational talent agenda designed to recruit, develop and retain the best talent in the business. * Partner with Leadership to develop and execute best practices to promote employee engagement and empowerment to enable a high-performing workforce to contribute to the company’s strategic growth. * Anticipate, influence and drive planning and execution around business initiatives such as organizational design, leadership/team development, and annual planning cycles (performance and compensation planning) in support of business objectives.

Utilize information to develop areas of focus that continually evolve the corporate culture. **Result Oriented** * Energetic, resourceful with strong service orientation and positive can-do attitude. Fully committed to the job and to deliver outstanding work. **Employee Relations Expertise:** * Able to provide guidance with and conduct investigations of concerns and complaints; involve appropriate individuals, seek Legal advice, when appropriate, and successfully resolve employee relations issues with credible, creative and consistent solutions. **Education Requirements and Qualifications:** * A Bachelors Degree in HR, business, psychology or a related field or equivalent * A minimum of 10 years HR experience, with at least five years in a complex Business Partner role or broad HR leadership position. Prior HR and/or business leadership experience in a biotech, pharmaceuticals or healthcare organization strongly preferred * Exceptional interpersonal skills with well-honed collaboration and consultation skills * Demonstrated capacity to skillfully communicate with all levels of employees, influence outcomes and establish credibility as a skilled HR business partner and professional * A minimum of 3 years small and large group facilitation experience – certification in skill development programs preferred * Strong business acumen * In-depth experience in organizational development and design, change leadership, talent management/succession planning and performance management * Dedication to providing a high level of customer service * Demonstrated critical thinking and complex problem-solving skills * Results oriented with a track record of success in delivering on business objectives * Extensive knowledge of applicable local, state and federal employment laws * Outstanding analytical, written and oral communication skills * Compensation administration and leadership talent recruiting experience * Experience in a small to medium-sized high growth company
