Summary
At Sunrise, our Associate Executive Director (AED) is responsible for assisting the Executive Director (ED) with the overall leadership, management and success of Sunrise of Plano which serves approximately 180 seniors in premier assisted living, memory care and independent living apartments. The AED role is a position which will off continuous training with the goal of promoting the AED to an ED role within 1-3 years. For that reason, candidates must be willing to relocate within the Western US for a ED position in 1-3 years.

- Financial management - Sales & marketing - Recruiting, hiring, training and coaching of a high quality team - Providing recognition and creating an engaged culture for your team members, residents and families - Create a positive atmosphere in the community for residents, family & friends and all team members, in alignment with Sunrise’s mission and values
Ideal Candidate
- Passion for working with seniors - Prior leadership experience (within the senior care industry preferred) - College degree strongly preferred; degree and management experience are required per requirements in some states - Previous sales experience preferred - Previous management experience including hiring, coaching, performance management daily operations supervision & discipline - Demonstration of success in managing operating expenses - Ability to work a schedule that regularly requires a weekend day. The AED will work either Sunday-Thursday or Tuesday-Saturday. - Willingness to relocate throughout the Western US for an ED role (promotion) within the next 1-5 years - Proficiency in computer skills, Microsoft Office and the ability to learn new applications.
