Business Analyst

Headquartered in New York City, Take-Two Interactive Software, Inc. is a leading developer, marketer and publisher of interactive entertainment for consumers around the globe. The Company develops and publishes products through its two wholly-owned labels Rockstar Games and 2K.

The Business Analyst acts as a subject matter expert within the organization to provide timely and insightful data analysis, documentation, and recommended solutions throughout Take-Two’s North American and International territories. The role places significance on systems analysis and bridging the gap between the business queries and technology solutions.

* Providing business requirements, scoping report specifications, and writing and maintaining project plans * Designing and maintaining data models and maintaining communication with business leads and information technology members * Creating and maintaining functional and non-functional requirements * Testing reporting outputs versus source data and assisting the business on delivering accurate data through the organization’s strategic reporting tools * Becoming a subject matter expert within the organization on sales, finance, and distribution information and processes * Being adept at utilizing and mastering the organization’s Enterprise Applications including: * Oracle Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems such as JD Edwards or E-Business Suite * Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) systems such as Hyperion Planning and Hyperion Financial Management * Business intelligence and visualization tools such as Oracle Business Intelligence, Tableau, and SAS * Contribute with the implementation of new reporting tools and systems * Building relationships and liaising with business leads and management within Take-Two and its labels, 2K and Rockstar * Contribute and implement ideas for continuous improvement **Company systems & Processes:** * Oracle Business Intelligence, Microsoft Office (Advanced), Hyperion (Planning and HFM), SQL Developer/TOAD

* Strong business analytical skills, including experience with strategic planning, system analysis, business model analysis, and process design * Strong business acumen with a commercial mind-set; candidates will ideally have a sound financial awareness and a track record of producing high quality analysis and meeting deadlines * Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with an appreciation of data integrity * Good oral, written, and presentation skills * Proven experience working with business leads, managers, and technology experts on gathering requirements and providing measurable results * Highly adept in the use and manipulation of excel spread sheets and reporting tools * Experience with Oracle Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems such as JD Edwards or E-Business Suite; Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) systems such as Hyperion Planning and Hyperion Financial Management; Business intelligence and visualization tools such as Oracle Business Intelligence, Tableau, and SAS * Ability and willingness to learn SQL * 3-5 years’ experience in business and/or systems analysis * 4-year university degree in mathematics, finance, or business administration **Key Attributes:** * Excellent teamwork skills, flexibility and ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks * Ability to adhere to deadlines and work within a fast-paced environment * Willingness to grow technology and analytical skills
