Summary
Spokeo is seeking a Vice President of Acquisition Marketing. Spokeo builds innovative products that make your world more transparent. We help you know the people around you better so you can be more connected, more protected, and trust a little easier. As the Vice President of Acquisition Marketing, you will manage our ad budget, optimize campaigns, oversee the digital marketing team.
Responsibilities
* Lead and manage the marketing team * Establish and refine digital marketing processes, from ad and content creation, creative and landing page testing, to campaign analysis and optimization * Continue to build the Spokeo brand through direct marketing tactics as well as social media and content initiatives * Manage the process of creating ads and marketing assets and ensure continuous delivery of new assets to test * Manage paid social channel, with emphasis on driving growth via Facebook * Manage content marketing channel, with emphasis on advertorial content distribution via Outbrain and Taboola * Manage affiliate marketing channel * Oversee paid search (SEM) and SEO initiatives * Oversee landing page optimization * Collaborate with Finance to develop budgets and forecasts * Leverage marketing insights and analytics to suggest and influence product improvements, such as pricing, product mix, promotions, messaging, and value props
Ideal Candidate
* Experience in digital marketing, especially managing a sizable budget * 7+ years of experience working with direct response marketing * 3+ years of experience with display and paid social advertising * 3+ years of managerial experience, with expertise in growing and mentoring high-performing teams * 2+ years of experience with subscription business model * Experience managing annual spend levels of $10M+ * Experience building a brand through direct marketing tactics as well as grassroots initiatives * Experience with affiliate marketing * Experience with paid social media marketing * Experience with analytics and marketing tools such as Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Kenshoo/Marin/Doubleclick, and Chartio/Tableau * Strategic vision to drive growth in digital marketing channels * Expert Excel skills and analytical ability * Strong written and oral communication skills * Nice to have: experience with offline media, such as TV, direct mail and radio
