About Snapcard

SNAPCARD was founded in 2013 in order to help consumers spend their digital currencies. Since then we have been rethinking the way that merchants accept digital currency. It is our focus to help merchants understand the value of accepting digital currencies.

Summary

As our People Operations Manager, you will be tasked with the responsibility of maintaining Snapcards values as we scale the team. Youll be defining and executing the recruiting and onboarding process and help us navigate through our aggressive hiring goals. Were looking for somebody thats extremely passionate about people and who deeply cares about the well-being our team. Were a close knit team and have carefully crafted and amazing team since 2013. Were excited to see the family grow :) Youll be the only dedicated People resource and report directly to our COO.

Responsibilities
  • Be an advocate and supporter of Snapcard employees
  • Implement and utilize effective sourcing strategies to attract highly qualified candidates
  • Develop and implement systems to ensure efficient recruiting, hiring and onboarding of new team members
  • Conduct regular follow-ups with managers to determine effectiveness of recruitment plans
  • Assist in the creation of role descriptions and detailed profiles for business partners
  • Participate and support ongoing improvements to our Employee Referral program
  • Identify and participate in networking activities, industry conferences and open houses to build relationships and connect with future talent
  • Advise on and improve Snapcard HR policies
Ideal Candidate
  • Self-starter, entrepreneurial spirit
  • Bachelors Degree
  • Excellent communication (slack/written and verbal) skills
  • Strong startup experience and startup-level interpersonal skills
  • Successful track record in implementing recruiting strategies in a growing organization
  • 3-5 years recruiting experience, preferably in a technology/SaaS environment
  • Solid sourcing experience and creative pipeline management
  • Ability to manage confidentiality concerning employee information
  • Low ego and great references
