Product Management Lead of International

The ideal candidate will bring depth of functional (product management) and subject matter (localization, international business) experience, as well as ideally a proven track record in organizations of varying sizes as we’re growing fast!

* Develop product strategy and roadmap for bringing Slack to market in key markets around the world with a cross-functional team of engineers, designers, marketing, business operations, accounts teams, and customer support. * Along with engineering leadership, develop appropriate planning, prioritization, and release management processes to enable us to launch new features across platforms at a fast clip while ensuring the stability and overall quality of our experience for international users. * Advocate Slack’s international and non-English-speaking customers’ needs company-wide, including market-specific capabilities driven by policy, business environments, and local customs. * Drive flawless execution against plan, anticipating staffing needs, risks, and the need for frequent and clear communication internally and with customers. * Hire and direct a team of product managers to exceptional product quality and execution.

* Product management experience localizing a product which is rapidly expanding in feature scope and audience * Passion about Slack and the problem we are solving * Voracious appetite for making products work great for audiences around the world * Experience in international product and business considerations * Natural talent for mediating competing interests and finding creative solutions * Great track record of working with engineering and design teams: people want to work with you again * Preferred but not required: experience hiring and managing product managers
