Data Engineer

Showtime Networks, Inc. is the corporate division of media conglomerate CBS Corporation that oversees the company's premium cable television channels, including its flagship service Showtime.

• Perform analysis to understand business problems and business data to provide guidance on appropriate Business Intelligence and Data Warehouse complete reporting solutions that can provide structured and ad-hoc access to large datasets.
• Implementation of Business Intelligence/Data Warehouse projects in support of business needs. This includes design, development, test and production support.
• Develop processes to scrub and ingest large, distinct data sets from multiple sources into a unified data warehouse.
• Employ data mining, segmentation, and other analytical techniques to capture important trends in the customer base.
• Model data and metadata for ad hoc and pre-built reporting.
• Separate the data signal from the noise.

• You have 3+ years of relevant experience in a data science or comparable data engineering role.
• You have 3+ years of experience with relational database design & implementation.
• You have experience with enterprise analytics tools (e.g., Adobe, Google, WebTrends)
• You have experience with data warehousing and business intelligence tools, techniques and technology.
• You have experience in data mining structured and unstructured data (SQL, ETL, data warehouse, Mongo, Oracle, etc.) in a business environment with large-scale, complex data sets.
• You have the ability to dive-deep on data analysis or technical issues to come up with effective solutions.
