Benefits Analyst

* Responsible for the administration of several pension and retirement plans covering HAL, PCL, P&O; Australia and Seabourn shipboard officers. * Administers plans including; calculations of benefits, funding, advising employees of benefits and transitioning of plans. * Works with CMS/Adonis/MAPS/EPIC to ensure that the HR/Payroll systems are updated and maintained to reflect plan administration requirements related to pension and retirement plans. * Serves as back-up in the administration of the land-based Holland America Group 401(k)/Profit Sharing plans. * Assists with other projects as assigned.

* Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or Business or equivalent work experience. * Three to five years of experience in administering pension and benefits plans. * Solid understanding of pension and retirement governmental regulations. * Advanced skills in Outlook, Microsoft office suite (MS Word, Excel and Power Point) and database computer applications. * Experience with ADP (EV5 version) and EasyEnroll is a plus. * Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills. * Able to work effectively across all levels within the organization. * Ability to juggle multiple priorities simultaneously. * Strong aptitude for working in a fast paced environment. * Highly organized, detailed oriented, and able to switch directions with little notice. * Strong service orientation and project management skills.
