Summary
Ocean Spray Cranberries, Inc. is currently looking for a Human Resource Business Partner to join our team in Lakeville, MA. The Human Resources Business Partner performs employee relation duties as well as responsible for general human resources support activities and maintaining consistency throughout the cooperative. The HR Business Partner will provide assistance in the areas of employment, employee relations, recruitment, training, corrective action, succession planning, performance management, manager coaching/training.
Responsibilities
* Act as a Strategic Business Partner that drives initiatives to support the organizational goals and objectives, short and long term * Drive independent projects and renewed processes and procedures that align with overall business strategy * Serve as first point of contact and first line communications to employees, managers and supervisors regarding general human resources related questions * Problem-solve using information, policy, procedure, compliance, and systems information to identify best fit approach/response to meet customer requirements * Assist with new hire activities including communicating with new employees regarding onboarding activities and participating in new employee meetings * Assist with compiling information and preparing reports, spreadsheets, presentations, and handling special projects as directed * Handle and maintain confidential materials, including financial and personnel records and files – ensuring employee personnel files are complete, compliant, confidential and current
Ideal Candidate
* Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Human Resources Management Required * 3-5 years of HR Generalist experience in a fast- paced environment is required * Knowledge and appropriate application of federal, state and local employment regulations * Excellent organizational skills with a strong ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment * Flexibility and ability to deal with ambiguity with strong resiliency to rapid change * Must have demonstrated ability to organize and execute assigned projects * Strong sense of urgency in meeting customer needs * Very strong personal communication skills – must be outgoing and have the ability to work well with all levels within the organization with the ability to advise and influence * Must be a self-starter who assertively takes on challenging responsibilities and holds self ultimately accountable for results and performance * Must be detail-oriented and self-motivated * Have the ability to deal with people in a manner which shows sensitivity, tact, and professionalism * Must possess relationship building skills * Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills, able to work independently
