Summary
We presently have an opportunity for a Community Coordinator within our Digital department. The Community Coordinator monitors and moderates PGA TOUR digital channels and analyzes the performance of TOUR- and fan-generated content across platforms. With a close connection to what fans are saying about key topics, content and products, the Community Coordinator is responsible for identifying relevant trends, opportunities and threats, and communicating them to appropriate groups across the TOUR. The Community Coordinator will also collect, analyze and report audience feedback to improve fan experiences across all platforms.
Responsibilities
- Monitors PGA TOUR properties for fan questions and comments. This includes PGATOUR.COM comments and feedback, as well as social media platform - Actively responds to questions and comments - Moderates comments and ensures fan chatter meets community standards - Actively identifies opportunities or threats among fan-generated posts and escalates them to appropriate parties across the TOUR - Identifies positive, negative or neutral trends among fans on key products or questions, and regularly reports findings to appropriate parties across the TOUR - Analyzes TOUR-generated content, assesses how well fans are engaging with it and shares those insights in regular reports - Curates fan-generated content within appropriate digital platforms - Works closely with the Digital team, staying in the know about content and product plans. - Participates in regular creative brainstorm sessions - Utilizes PGA TOUR moderation and analysis tools - Must be available during competition hours, which includes evenings and weekends
Ideal Candidate
- B.A. or B.S. in Journalism, Communications or related field. - Minimum of 2 years of experience managing digital communities on behalf of a b2c brand or media outlet - Experience should include monitoring and moderating website/blog comments, social media platforms, and have familiarity with moderation, listening, paid programming and analysis tools - Minimum of 2 years of experience analyzing community metrics around digital content - Experience should include gathering actionable insights and generating detailed reports - Highly organized, excellent writing skills with strong attention to detail
