Summary
The Product Services team is focused on driving product adoption and user engagement across our client community. As part of this team, you connect directly with our clients to understand their business problems and deliver solutions through our investment management platform, Aladdin. We partner with Product Developers, Product Managers, and our users to build products that power informed decision-making, effective risk management, efficient trading, and operational scale. We are passionate about using technology to solve our clients' most complex problems and deliver a superior user experience. The operations marketing manager will be responsible for structuring and driving the communications strategy through the product lifecycle, identifying target customers for product adoption, and understanding customer behavior through usage metrics and feedback.
Responsibilities
* Use Aladdin operational product knowledge to address key questions about the client community and drive adoption of tools * Manage product deployment process across global client base, including documentation, marketing materials, user forums, training, and business process reviews * Responsible for the product feedback loop * Bring Aladdin power users into the development process by obtaining and incorporating their feedback upstream in the development lifecycle * Advocate on behalf of the community by collecting and distilling insight to validate and influence design * Monitor competitors and industry trends to ensure Aladdin stays competitive in the marketplace * Drive strategies and set standards for client services teams to ensure users’ questions/feedback receive quality, timely responses
Ideal Candidate
* Strong user engagement experience with a focus on software and technology * Ability to work with engineers to drive the roadmap and design great products * Collect and distill requirements from internal and external users to provide technology partners with a clear understanding of enhancement opportunities * Entrepreneurial drive and technical insight to make great products better * Knowledge of trade life cycle and trade processing * Demonstrate ability to learn new concepts very quickly * Superior communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts simply and clearly * Strong relationship skills, ability to influence change across different teams, organizations and manage expectations * Motivated by opportunities to present to senior management and large audiences * Self-starter who enjoys a fast-paced, high-intensity environment and works well as part of a team with minimal supervision * Well organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities * Programming background or experience with query languages desired (e.g. SQL) * Deep interest in technology, both personally and professionally
