Summary
The team is responsible for helping them meet business objectives and KPI goals by providing outstanding finance support and business insights. As a member of PayPal’s Global FP&A team based in San Jose, this role will lead operating expense and headcount budgeting, forecasting and tracking of the Corp G&A functions. Additionally, this role will also provide analytical support to the senior leaders of the Corp G&A organizations.Core Responsibilities include:Work closely with Corp G&A leaders and their teams to develop a full understanding of organization''s strategic priorities, resource and headcount needs, and partner with them to execute and improve financial planning, budgeting and reporting.
Responsibilities
* Lead annual budgeting, monthly forecasting processes and provide support to long term planning process * Work with Corp G&A teams to identify resource needs, spending patterns and advise on investment decisions * Facilitate month and quarter end close (accruals) and reporting process * Complete monthly forecast analysis, support monthly and quarterly operational reviews and business deep dives * Provide resource tracking, expense analysis and business case modeling * Improve existing processes to leverage automated tools * Support all capex related activities. **This role offers the candidate an opportunity to:** * Work directly with the innovative Corp G&A organizations of a very exciting, high growth payments company * Work with a solid finance organization and collaborate with finance counterparts globally• Develop strong analytical skills * Build process and project management skills as we continuously improve the quality of forecasting and reporting * Build communication skills as we partner with multiple stakeholders
Ideal Candidate
•Bachelor's degree in business, finance or accounting required; MBA preferred •3 - 7 years of prior experience in Finance or Accounting field in a high growth, global company preferably in internet based, high tech or financial services sectors •Detail oriented and strong analytical skills •Strong MS excel skills; Should be comfortable with financial modeling and working with large amounts of data/databases •Prior experience with ERP and reporting systems (e.g. SAP, BI, BOBJ) and financial planning systems (e.g. Hyperion, Essbase, Khalix etc) is preferred •Experience in building succinct PowerPoint presentations •Strong verbal and written communication skills •Comfortable working in a fast paced, cross functional team environment setting
