Summary
Paint Nite is searching for a passionate, innovative, and outgoing Community Manager to drive growth and performance across our platform through our internal communications. As our Community Manager, you would coordinate how to best organize information, solve problems, and work with the rest of the team to ensure we constantly improve by keeping our platform engaged, informed, and aligned. You think of maintaining our community as if it’s the longest running party you will ever plan and attend. Your job is to make sure the fridge is stocked, drinks are flowing, and music is playing all night long. You'll also have to make sure the room looks good and the invites are sent and re-sent as needed. In short, you'll be tasked with finding new and innovative ways to bring engagement to the platform, including matching the diverse needs of a wide variety of working styles.
Responsibilities
* Strategize the approach of how content is organized and created on our internal site, including channels for hosting socializing, learning, vlog episodes, blog articles, conference calls, and newsletters. * Build a strong network of advocates who will keep your community passionate and focused. * Develop communication plans to best deliver and adopt change. * Create systems that can scale our information and communications as we grow. * Develop new communication channels and programs based on needs, as well as develop feedback loops to constantly improve how we communicate. * Measure community engagement and identify opportunities to improve. * Work cross-functionally with platform stakeholders to ensure communications are aligned. * Manage the Blog Coordinator and Online Course Designer positions.
Ideal Candidate
* Experience maintaining the content, design, and organization of blogs and websites. * Passionate about community best practices, principles, concepts, and technologies. * Strong writing skills and ability to communicate in an approachable and engaging way. * Excellent organizational and project management skills. * Ability to work across all functional organizations as well as levels in the organization. * Ability to identify themes and develop communication plans to address them. * Thinks outside the box to develop news ways to engage a community. * Experience managing staff. * Hands-on and self-driven. * Some graphic design capabilities **Extra Bonus Points:** * If you are comfortable with trying to do a little bit of everything! From graphic design, to writing, to analytics, you will have to determine which of the broad range of activities are most important to engage the online Paint Nite community.
