The Senior Visual Designer is responsible for supporting revenue generation and brand building by working to create and evolve the visual design of client facing and non-client facing materials across the company. They will be responsible for designing and ensuring quality in sales tools, presentations, demos and tutorials, email templates, website updates, and more. This position will be closely collaborating with departments across the company including: Sales, Product, Client Services, Ops, and client partners.
Responsibilities
- Develop high-quality visual design through expert knowledge and application of graphics, layout, and typography concepts - Determine page layout and design for data sheets and other marketing collateral - Create graphics, icons, and other visual treatments for pitch decks and other keynote presentations - Collaborate with the product design team to establish and maintain our brand identity, ensuring that all supporting assets for product and marketing campaigns have a clear, consistent voice - Maintain and evolve visual standards for design and content across all company outlets, and provide guidance for colleagues. - Responsible for conceptualization and implementation of design solutions from concept to completion. - Play a lead role on projects and provide feedback for other designer’s in creating concepts, comps, layouts and final art. - Collaborate with marketing managers and internal clients as well as other stakeholders to develop and produce dynamic communication - Participate in and encourage an environment of collaboration and creative problem solving - Assist Creative Director with prioritization and dissemination of workload, ensuring deadlines are met. - Creates templates and standards. - Makes recommendations to improve efficiency, productivity, processes and procedures.
Ideal Candidate
- Minimum 5 years of professional design experience in an agency or in-house studio or previous senior designer experience - Bachelor’s or equivalent experience in graphic design or a related field - Understanding of designing for responsive media - Strong interpersonal and communication skills - Strong conceptual skills and a high-level sense of design, layout and typography - Solid organizational skills and the ability to balance quick paced projects and competing deadlines - Have knowledge of printing procedures, photography, and illustration - High-level executive and client interaction skills. - Understanding of CSS and html, user interface design, and user experience flow (don't need to know how to write code just need working knowledge of the concept) - High level of proficiency in design, web and multimedia software including Adobe Creative Suite, and working knowledge of Word, PowerPoint and Acrobat - Flexibility and adaptability; able to problem-solve and handle pressure well in a deadline-driven environment with frequent rush assignments; effectively cope with change and multitasking and to switch direction rapidly as priorities change - Proven to fit well in a team environment with the ability to maintain positive, productive working relationships; experience working with technical and creative teams
