Summary
The Senior Project Manager is responsible for directing and supervising the Project Management team ensuring all steps in the project process are followed. The Senior Project Manager ensures integration across all creative channels (including ecommerce, digital ads, social, CRM, photography, video, print, point-of-sale, out-of-home (analog and video). The Senior Project Manager is extremely organized, solutions-oriented, workflow expert who will continually evolve streamlined processes to enhance communication. The Senior Project Manager is the leader whose team is the hub of creative content workflow including meeting strict deadlines within budget.
Responsibilities
- **Project Management Team Management:** Monitor day-to-day activities of the project team and ensure work is progressing as planned, prioritizing issues and strategizing solutions. Identify and resolve issues and conflicts with project team. Motivate and supervise team members, influence them to take positive actions and accountability for their assignments - including creative kick offs, creative reviews and in production content routing to deliver the best creative on time and within budget. Project Management team may interface with external agencies and review scope of work and cost estimates with Director Global Creative Operations and Procurement. - **Operations Management:** Develop and maintain campaign and project status that captures all channels based on annual marketing calendars. Lead status meetings to keep multi-channel projects on track within Oakley/agency creative. Work closely with category leads, sports marketing, ecommerce, retail, wholesale and the larger creative operations team to ensure efficient workflow, encourage a collaborative work environment and develop tools for increased transparency. - **Creative Operation Relations:** Partner with Oakley production to maintain optimum quality relationships between creative and our production partners, whether in-house or external. Consistently identify needs that internal clients may not recognize and ensure approaches and solutions are linked to business objectives and future needs. Conduct project post mortems on campaign launches in order to identify successful and unsuccessful workflows to continually evolve process and communication.
Ideal Candidate
- Bachelors Degree in communications or business, or equivalent industry experience - 7+ years of working experience in project management preferably in marketing, creative or digital. - Position requires a combination of operational strategy, financial acumen, integrated production management (photo, digital, 3D rendering, print and video), creative workflow expertise and team leadership and talent development experience. - 3+ years of team management experience. - Ability to grow, motivate and lead teams is essential. - Should be a motivated self-starter, process-oriented with high attention to detail. - Strong interpersonal and communication skills (listening, written and oral) with the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community. - Knowledge of management principles and practices including budgeting, cost estimating, and fiscal management principles and procedures. - Ability to foster a cooperative work environment. - Ability to work in fast-paced team environment and flexibility to accommodate demanding projects schedules.
