EH and S Coordinator Job

The EH&S Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and administrating a variety of EH&S programs to ensure compliance, specifically the Rideshare Commuter and Safety Training programs.
- Manages the Oakley Rideshare program (Rule 2202) for So Cal, San Francisco and NYC and Volatile Organic Compound Emissions (Rule 109) record keeping.
- Administrator of all safety records, which includes the Safety Training database (ETQ) for Oakley
- Oversees the Personal Protective Equipment policy: distribution of equipment and record keeping
- Maintains the JECSI environmental database up to date with chemical reports
- Tracks waste manifests and E-waste/Universal waste compliance
- Supports Emergency Response Preparedness & Response Program / HAZWOPER Certification
- Performs Air permit, Hazardous waste and SDS audits and tracks compliance
- Supports our WC Specialist with WC claim support (coordination with HR, Legal & TPA on litigated case preparation) for US and Canada claims.
- Assists the EH&S Specialist with Safety training and special projects.
- Provides support with OSHA Recordkeeping (all Oakley U.S. locations including retail stores)
- Coordinate all visitor and vendor meetings with internal and external groups
- Performs general administrative duties for the EHS team: Shipping, filling, invoice management, ordering supplies
- Other duties and responsibilities.
- Associate degree required.
- Bachelor's degree in Health and Safety, highly desired.
- 1+ years of experience in Environmental Health and Safety supporting manufacturing, distribution or retail stores.
- AQMD Rule 2202 certification, desired.
- EHS certifications (HAZWOPER, OSHA 30 hour, ASP, CSP, CHMM) a desired.
- Proficient in MS-Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and use of internet.
- Outstanding organizational skills- detail and multi-task oriented
- Ability to anticipate needs and pro-actively seek out solutions
- Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritize and execute assignments and manage time efficiently
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees
- Ability to work will with all levels of internal management and staff as well as outside clients and vendors
- Ability to resolve problems under pressure, involving multiple variables
