Summary
We’re seeking a versatile inside sales associate who will be responsible for managing the day to day sales and support activities within an assigned sales region. You will cooperate and collaborate with colleagues, cross- functionally, to support the sales process, and be a direct contact for our customer base. Responsibilities
* Position required to provide the highest level of customer service to customers in an assigned territory; Serve as key interface or liaison between the customer, Manufacturing, Customer Service Center, Pricing, Marketing and other NCR sales support teams with regards to issues for current customers * Schedule and conduct regular meetings with customers to review pricing and procedures, discuss customer-specific issues, review performance/value, and collect outstanding invoices; Promote customer confidence in NCR, which will lead to long term business relationships * Fulfill the role of expert on all customer requirements for the assigned accounts and escalate any issues, as necessary, to the appropriate parties * Follow up on Sales Leads generated from Trade Shows, NCR Marketing or other sources * Identify, document and inform appropriate parties of any account-specific requirements (i.e., billing/invoicing, shipping, etc.); Obtains customer or industry information that assists in responding to customer's needs and requirements; Understands the formal and informal decision making process within each of the accounts * Identify possible sales opportunities through daily interaction with customers with an assigned territory * Respond constructively to minimize difficult or negative issues and partners with internal support groups to ensure total customer care * Position responsible for ensuring that assigned accounts are being properly serviced by NCR in a manner that reflects NCR's commitment to delivering high quality products and services * Manage account receivables that are outstanding to ensure that orders are not withheld; Communicate price increases driven by the industry to the customer in a timely manner * Leverage all NCR support groups and internal resources (i.e. CSC, specialists, etc.) in order to service the customer in order to retain and potentially grow the level of business in each assigned account * Fast-paced, multi-functional tasking expected
Ideal Candidate
**Basic Qualifications** * Bachelor’s Degree in a related discipline * New college grads are welcome to apply * 1-3 years of related customer relations experience * Excellent communication and problem solving skills * Excellent PC / Computer skills, specifically with MS Office Software * Can demonstrate ability to build and develop long term client relationships * Results orientation meets deadlines (often set by customers) with high quality work * Ability to identify issues and opportunities, develop solutions, make recommendations and execute/manage their implementation; Must evaluate (sometimes-complex) situations using multiple sources of information **Preferred Qualification** * Prior sales support experience, including recent experience working directly with contracted customers, sales representatives and/or sales managers in the technology industry
