Summary

The Sales Operations Processing Specialist is a sales support role that monitors, reconciles, and processes incoming purchase orders to ensure timely service to our customers, accurate data input into our customer relationship management system, and proper communication of order information to different departments within the company. The Sales Processing Specialist is responsible for establishing a working rapport with the sales and finance team and for responding quickly to customer needs.

Responsibilities
  • Enter and process customer orders
  • Ensure quality of all completed orders by resolving any issues or discrepancies
  • Ensure timeliness of order fulfillment within SLA
  • Execute customer fulfillment communication that accurate and relevant
  • Reconcile incoming orders against price quotes and contracts
  • Manage order flow from contract with sales staff through finalizing it for signature
  • Analyze quotes and contract to ensure proper revenue recognition, invoicing, and order booking
  • Provide continuous improvement on quotation process
  • Ensure quality of order data in company CRM system (Salesforce.com)
  • Support sales team efforts to hit revenue targets
  • Input leads from resellers and help with the lead generation process
  • Assist Sales Operations Manager on projects applicable to Sales Operations activities
Ideal Candidate
  • Sales support, contract or billing experience within a software company desired
  • Mac experience preferred
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Strong customer service focus
  • Passion for high growth, entrepreneurial business environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word)
  • Highly self-motivated and dependable
  • Maintains a high degree of confidentiality
  • Must possess strong organization skills with attention to detail

Education:

  • BA/BS degree in a relevant field preferred
