Shipping Clerk

Shipping Clerk is responsible for clerical and administrative duties in the shipping department. The Shipping Clerk will handle all documentation for shipments and ensure accurate billing for all items shipped out.

* Maintain appropriate documentation on shipments. * Complete all bill of lading for outbound shipments and update system with correct information to allow for carrier payment. * Balance loader documentation with shipping order. * Manifest shipping orders, billing and inventory control. * Alert utility personnel of discrepancies if they arise. * Resolve paperwork discrepancies with utility people as needed. * Coordinates shipping and receiving activities with carriers and contacts both internal and external. * Other duties as assigned.

* High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. * 1 plus years of experience in shipping and/or receiving is preferred. * Ability to perform basic math. * Computer experience - Microsoft Office (Work, Excel, Power Point) or Google (Gmail, Docs, Sheets, Slides). * Ability to communicate with all levels of the organization. * Ability to work in a fast paced environment of continuous change and challenges. * Must be able to work extended hours and weekends according to schedule.
