Summary
Sales Support Administration is responsible for customer maintenance and support, sales quotas, and/or order fulfillment and adjustments.
Responsibilities
* Support the daily needs of customers, manufacturer’s reps, and the Tradex sales team in order to meet sales objectives * Daily contact via phone and email with customer sales leaders, sales reps, and category managers * Fielding questions and making recommendations related to products, pricing, bids, cross referencing, samples, and promotions * Position serves as a the primary internal contact for customer service, procurement, accounting, and operations for any pricing, quality, invoicing, and any other issues related to the strategic account. * Managing deviated pricing contracts renewals and expiration's * Weekly review of key customer orders and inventory status * Annual travel to industry trade show * Price discrepancy reconciliation with Customer Service * Update and maintain customer management system **What is expected of you and others at this level** * Applies comprehensive knowledge and a thorough understanding of concepts, principles, and technical capabilities to perform varied tasks and projects * May contribute to the development of policies and procedures * Works on complex projects of large scope * Develops technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problems. Solutions are innovative and consistent with organization objectives * Completes work independently receives general guidance on new projects * Work reviewed for purpose of meeting objectives * May act as a mentor to less experienced colleagues
Ideal Candidate
* Bachelors Degree preferred * Min 4 years general business experience, preferred * Strong written and verbal communication skills * Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Access, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word) * Customer service, problem solving and analytical skills required
