Summary
The Regional Marketing Lead is responsible for all go-to –market strategy and planning for MSCIs Analytics offerings in the Americas. This leadership role will help to drive growth of MSCI’s Analytics business across the region while working closely with executive leadership, product management and sales to plan and execute comprehensive Sales & Marketing Campaigns that produce measurable results. The candidate should have a strong background in product marketing and marketing communications with an emphasis on creating messaging, competitive positioning and sales enablement activities. This position reports to the Global Head of Analytics Marketing and is based in MSCI’s offices in New York. The ideal candidate is a savvy, creative professional with at least 10 years of direct product marketing experience in the FinTech space who takes pride in being proactive, ambitious and self-directed individual.
Responsibilities
* Partners with the Global Head of Analytics Marketing to ensure regional marketing plans and strategy are consistent and integrated with the global plans * Leads Regional Analytics Sales & Marketing Campaigns in partnership with Coverage and Product teams and serves as the principal point of contact for regional analytics marketing services and support * Develop and manage marketing plans to stimulate ongoing revenue growth and to support special events and initiatives, such as new product launches and global strategic initiatives. * Produces meaningful metrics for the Americas Analytics business and offer fact-based insights to help guide strategies for brand positioning, client retention and development, pricing, product innovation, industry partnerships, and cost-effective methods for attracting new business. * Collaborate with Sales, Consulting and Client Service teams in Americas to identify marketing challenges and opportunities and find productive ways to address them * Deliver compelling benefits-driven sales enablement content (ie. sales presentations, website content, newsletter articles, thought leadership papers, client case studies, events etc.) to drive and support MSCI Analytics go-to market activities.
Ideal Candidate
* 10 years of relevant marketing experience * Ability to manage strategic sales & marketing campaign development as well as manage tactical day-to-day campaign deliverables. * Good understanding of the portfolio management and risk analytics space and how it impacts the investment process * Excellent verbal and written communication skills * Excellent organizational skills, ability to work on multiple projects/plans and work well under pressure to meet deadlines * Confident self-starter with proven leadership qualities, ability to work in a matrix work environment and strong partnership skills
