Product Manager

We are looking for a creative and passionate product manager with willingness to define, build, and launch successful products to market. In collaboration with the Senior Product Manager and through interaction with customers, partners and internal Dolby employees you will continue developing Dolby Audio for mobile applications products and build new cloud based services to successfully bring the next generation digital audio and video products to market.
You will have responsibility for developing and executing the product strategy, positioning, messaging, and pricing. You must possess good business acumen, creativity and knowledge across industries such as mobile, media and cloud.
- Help to manage the product lifecycle including strategic planning, definition, development, management, delivery and end of life for your products
- Be responsible for and define the detailed product requirements and ensure that product meets the market needs, revenue, and adoption targets
- Develop compelling product positioning, messaging, and value proposition for the product or service
- Serve as a product evangelist. Evangelize product to customers, partners, and analysts.
- Run your product like a business owner through the business case, business model, segmentation, and pricing
- Be a contributor of new concepts, methods or technologies
- Working with the R&D teams, leverage Dolby’s existing technology platforms to bring them to the market and contribute ideas that can lead to the development and creation of new products.
- Develop a go to market strategy and provide ongoing product support to regional sales teams.
- Coordinate with engineering to ensure the new product functions are delivered in quality and in time.
- Exposure to Agile scrum teams, processes and tools
- Minimum of Junior at University pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Product Marketing, Business or related field
- Minimum of 1-2 years experience in software product management in the mobile application space. Cloud services experience desirable. Software developement experience desirable.
- Excellent written, verbal communication & organizational skills
- Passion for enhancing consumer experiences
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with diverse teams to achieve goals, both functionally and geographically
