Summary
As Director of Product Marketing you will drive the go-to-market strategy and execution for CloudPassage products. You will spearhead the launch of new products and updates to existing products. This includes crafting and iteratively improving outbound messaging and positioning, product-related content, sales enablement, gathering customer feedback, competitive positioning, etc. In concert with the marketing team, you will participate in defining and developing marketing campaigns to drive demand, build pipeline and shorten sales cycles.
Responsibilities
* Gather market intelligence, understand the complete buyer’s lifecycle. * Create and refine product messaging and product positioning. * Drive development of customer use case stories through direct customer interaction. Document customer success stories involving the use of your products. * Define and manage end-to-end product launches with cross functional teams. * Ability to understand relevant product concepts deeply and be able to articuate their business value. * Provide valuable content for sales presentations, white papers, datasheets, solution briefs, blog posts, videos, contributed articles and social media content * Build a complete understanding of competitive landscape and define competitive strategy. * Help drive thought leadership and influence market perception of our company and products. Including audiences such as costumers, analyst, press, bloggers, and thought leaders. * Build and execute sales enablement programs for both internal and partner selling teams.
Ideal Candidate
* At least 5-8 years experience in product marketing for B2B software or SAAS Company * Strong interpersonal skills * Exceptional written and verbal communication skills * Domain expertise in information security, vulnerability management, malware, security operations. You must have solid understanding of key trends in security technology; background in cloud computing a plus * Excellent presentation skills * Strong project management skills * Enjoy creating content that can be packaged and polished for multiple uses. * Have a good understanding of messaging positions value proposition business benefit and solution orientation. * Must be naturally curious and passionate about information security * Must be a team player that works collaboratively across functions including sales, marketing, product and engineering * Commitment to transparency and direct feedback for continuous improvement
