Summary
We are looking for an outstanding Product Marketing Manager to join our internal Marketing group. The ideal candidate will be a data-driven marketer who is passionate about delivering results and driving business performance. They thrive in a fast-paced, high-performance organization, and are creative problem solvers.You will work closely with your peers to help improve online and offline acquisition, introduce and market new product lines, drive go-to market strategy, and track and forecast monthly revenue for SquareTrade’s direct to consumer business.
Responsibilities
* Owning idea to execution of new product launches and Initiatives. * Working closely with product management, engineering, PR, design, support and sales to launch new initiatives. * Understanding and leading analyses of the competitive environment, customers and product metrics to determine the right set of product features to introduce * Driving product adoption and usage rates by driving post-launch marketing programs * Providing effective product launch support to sales, support , marketing and other internal departments * Creating analytics framework to drive product adoption along with product management, marketing, and sales * Analyzing and interpret extensive performance data to help refine offline acquisition strategies, channel performance and optimize all media buys to achieve efficiency goals * Gathering, developing, validating, and implementing requirements/ideas from sales, teams to make your campaigns or strategies successful/efficient * Supporting ongoing analysis of business performance
Ideal Candidate
* A demonstrated ability to work closely with product, PR, design, and sales teams * Exceptional prioritization and project management skills * Self-starter and ability to build programs from scratch: Must have a positive attitude and can't be afraid to roll-up their sleeves and get things done * Both product marketing AND analytics-oriented experience (you have both qualitative and quantitative-type skills) * BA/BS in Marketing (esp with a management focus), Business, or similar major * MBA’s or advanced degrees are a plus * 2-5 years marketing and product marketing experience at world class technology brands and/or startups * Experience in marketing-oriented rotational programs within companies and/or consultant groups are a big plus * Excellent communication skills: Written, verbal, and visual required * Strong analytical skills and experience with SQL required
