Summary

The role of the Event Coordinator includes planning events for a technology client’s education line of products/devices to target audiences, details outlined

Responsibilities
  • Plan full fiscal year event schedule
  • Book event location and dates to accommodate school seasonality and target prioritized accounts
  • Source and confirm speakers and SMEs
  • Work with onsite sales team to determine invite list
  • Manage registration tool
  • Provide attendee support
  • Book catering
  • Deliver leads to sales teams
  • Provide full event report out back to tech client
  • Track leads through lifecycle
Ideal Candidate
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, PR, hospitality, or equivalent experience
  • 1-2 years of event coordination/management experience, preferably in a B2B environment
  • 2-3 years of project management experience
  • Must be organized, task and detail oriented, self-directed, with the ability to effectively manage multiple projects/tasks of varying complexities, meet deadlines and work well under pressure without supervision
  • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment that requires meeting time-sensitive deadlines for print publication and online transmission
  • Ability to travel to support events on location
