Summary
The Sales Marketing Manager is dedicated to communicating the value of our products and solutions to the marketplace. His or her core responsibility is to arm the Sales and Client Service teams with content that helps them demonstrate the value of our solutions so they can effectively sell, cross-sell and upsell.
Responsibilities
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize revenue opportunities for Sales Marketing support * Strategize and manage go-to-market communication strategies that meet the needs of multiple customer types * Be extremely resourceful; gather information from internal teams and the marketplace to inform messaging and positioning * Define key value and selling propositions for digital marketing solutions, capabilities and tools * Distill complex topics into concise, meaningful stories based on audiences, experience-levels and stakeholder motivations * Create compelling sales collateral for use by the Sales and Client Service teams (e.g., sell-sheets, solution guides, presentation materials, case studies) * Maintain sales collateral to ensure its ongoing relevancy for continued use. Manage content libraries for Sales and Client Service teams, and ensure awareness of assets at their disposal * Collaborate with other marketing functions (e.g. Demand Generation, MarCom) to carry key messages and value props throughout all marketing efforts (e.g. lead gen campaigns, website content, events & PR). * Contribute to Magnetic’s blog.
Ideal Candidate
* The ideal candidate is able to strategize and execute. He or she will own the development of sales collateral from start to finish. This person will need to assess market opportunities, identify associated marketing assets, create messaging, build content from scratch, and drive consistent messaging across the organization. * 3+ years of sales marketing, product marketing or marketing communications experience * Work experience in digital media or marketing industry * Outstanding organizational and multi-tasking skills * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * Strong eye for design. Proficient with PowerPoint. Experience with design software (e.g. Adobe InDesign) a plus. * Success in working within a cross-functional team and with cross-departmental stakeholders
