Summary
As the individual who builds and leads this practice, you will partner across Sales, Account Management, Ad Operations, Marketing, Product Management and Engineering departments. You will establish systems and processes for understanding our petabytes of data and uncovering actionable insights. You will present the insights to various audiences, ranging from our executive team, our customers and partners, and at various industry events.
Responsibilities
* Lead client-specific proprietary media and consumer insight projects from concept to design to presentation. * Develop ongoing research analyses, POVs and white papers to keep internal teams and clients informed. * Work closely with the sales team and clients to make value-added analytical services available to customers. * Develop thoughtful analysis to drive customer retention and refine our go-to-market strategies. * Communicate complex analytical results via documentation and presentations. * Package ideas in a logical, compelling and influential way, both to internal and external stakeholders. * Attract, build, develop and support top analytical talent which operates across Magnetic. * Be an inspiring leader, mentor and coach for the Magnetic Insights & Analytics team * Partner with product management, corporate strategy, technology, marketing, and ad ops teams to evangelize data-driven insights and support their functional goals. * Guide selection and adoption of BI and Reporting Systems.
Ideal Candidate
* You have a deep passion for Big Data and a track record for delivering actionable value through data. * You have an advanced degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics, OR, Economics, Mathematics, Physics, or other. * You have experience delivering analytics and data insight services within advertising or marketing industries. * You have experience building standardized and ad hoc reports using Tableau, Spotfire, or other BI tools. * You possess strong data analytical skills along with exceptional leadership, client and relationship management skills. * You are highly proficient with complex data sets, using modern statistical and data exploration tools and techniques (SQL, R, Python, SAS, etc.). * You enjoy identifying repeatable patterns instead of doing one-off, piecemeal analysis. * You love driving positive client interactions by managing customers questions with keen insights and unwavering confidence
