Summary
We’re looking for a Data Scientist that loves using machine learning methods for finding patterns in data and understanding things that others can’t get their heads’ wrapped around. You have experience building both supervised and unsupervised learning engines. You are numerically oriented and aren’t intimidated dealing with large data sets. And, importantly, you’re able to explain things clearly to people who share none of the above traits.
Responsibilities
* Develop predictive analytics products to enhance CrowdTwist’s omni-channel loyalty platform * Utilize advanced data analysis and modeling experience to introduce new data products on a regular basis * Use data mining techniques to find actionable insights that our clients can use to improve loyalty program outcomes * Work with our engineering team to implement statistical models and data products using SQL, Python, Bash, and/or R into our loyalty platform * Maintain our advanced business intelligence tool to constantly provide the best visualizations and key performance indicators relevant to our customers’ programs
Ideal Candidate
* 3+ years experience building statistical models such as clustering, logistic regression, classification, etc., preferably at a technology company * Bachelor’s degree in statistics, economics, mathematics, computer science, or related field; advanced degree a plus * Extremely efficient in data extraction using SQL and understanding large and complex relational databases * Highly effective collaborator and experience working across multiple departments such as Engineering, Sales, Marketing, etc. * Experience developing statistical models in Python or R * Familiar with automating tasks using bash * Excellent communication & documentation skills * Experience using business intelligence tools such as Birst or Tableau. * Bonus points if you’ve worked in the loyalty industry or passionate about working in the loyalty industry
