Data Business Analyst

Provide business intelligence to a highly talented and fast-paced team. The Analyst will work with business partners to design and implement tools and provide data analytics.

* Leads requirement and design sessions, creates analytics, supports end users, and partners with colleagues to deliver high quality reporting solutions for the Supply Chain & Sales teams * Designs professional material and decks that bring out insights and present complex data in a consumable format for various audiences like leadership, high profile customers and internal teams * Applies expertise in data mining, quantitative analysis, and data visualization to tell a compelling story behind the numbers * Works to build a long-term, sustainable automation infrastructure to scale a variety of reporting solutions * Collaborates with stakeholders, business partners, developers, and business analysts to deliver high quality solutions * Uses a wide variety of database applications/analytical tools * Supports end users, problem solving, troubleshooting * Works on intensive data mining in internal systems, investigates abnormal trends, and provides actionable recommendations to quantify the impact * Develops analyses for priority customers and creates reporting solutions that improve customer experience and drives growth * Works effectively with global cross-functional teams, assimilates requirements gathered, and drives results * Thinks and works independently with minimal guidance * Performs other duties as assigned

**Knowledge/Competencies/Skills:** * Strong analytical skills, with experience solving ambiguous problems using data and providing practical business insights * Proficiency in Excel, SQL, and PowerPoint is a must * Proficiency using data visualization software tools - experience working with Tableau is strongly preferred * Minimum of 2 years prior experience in data analytics required * Proficiency using statistical tools such as R, SAS, SPSS etc. strongly preferred * Alteryx, PHP, HTML/CSS/XML/JavaScript, PYTHON, VB and general programming/statistical programming skills are a plus * Fast learner * Achieve power-user status on multiple tools quickly * Proven experience leading data driven projects from definition through interpretation and execution - required * Excellent communication skills including strong presentation skills - required * Strong analytical skills including demonstrated aptitude with financial analysis and ability to generate insight from large and complex data sets - required * Strong project management skills and ability to effectively handle multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously - required * Ability to get results despite a large workload, competing demands and working in a fast paced environment - required * Ability to effectively prioritize multiple demands, adjust to change quickly and work constructively under pressure - required * Ability to structure nebulous projects and to work constructively under tight deadlines - required * Ability to influence peers and business partners without authority - required **Education:** * Bachelor’s or Master's degree in an analytical field (e.g. Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance or Economics) required **Years of Experience:** * Minimum of 2 years prior experience in data analytics required
