Associate Systems Analyst, Fleet Operations

Stem is seeking a Fleet Monitoring Analyst to help oversee the operational health of our fleet. This position lies at the junction of hardware, software, and field operations and will be responsible for coordinating with these groups to resolve field issues. You must be comfortable with data analysis, process efficiency, and able to thrive in a fast paced, self-starting environment.

• Monitor battery systems and utilize internal tools to identify and quickly resolve issues
• Remotely troubleshoot hardware and software systems
• Analyze battery system data and work with various internal teams to perform root-cause analysis
• Coordinate with field technicians during installation and operational issue resolution
• Work with software and hardware teams to determine both temporary and permanent solutions to system issues
• Create and track operational issue tickets and improve operational efficiency

• Strong analytical skills
• Ability to learn quickly and produce quality work under tight deadlines
• Able to think creatively to resolve problems
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Experience with enterprise level support
• Experience with large sets of data and data analysis
• Preferred experience with Jira
• Preferred experience with Tableau or Big Data visualization
• Preferred experience with SQL
• Preferred experience with Python or R
• Linux or command line experience is a plus

Required Experience

Education

• BS or equivalent work experience in Statistics, Physics, Engineering, Mathematics or Computer Science
• Knowledge of energy industry or renewables is a plus
